What is the USL Super League? 

The USL Super League is a professional women’s soccer league set to kick off in August 2024. The USL Super League has committed to U.S. Soccer’s Division One standards, reflecting its collective vision to be a global leader in women’s soccer on and off the field while providing more opportunities for more women in more communities. The inaugural 2024 season will feature 10-12 teams with additional teams set to join in subsequent seasons.

When does the USL Super League kick off? 

The USL Super League’s inaugural season will kick off in August 2024 and run to June 2025, becoming the first and only U.S.-based soccer league competing on the traditional soccer calendar. The “fall-to-summer” calendar prioritizes the fan experience, on-field competition, and commercial opportunities.

When will Oakland Soul debut in Super League?

Oakland’s participation in USL Super League and professional women’s soccer is contingent on a venue to accommodate two professional soccer teams. Read more about our interim stadium plans.
