For the first time ever, Oakland Soul SC will take the field at the iconic Oakland Coliseum on June 7 as part of a doubleheader with Oakland Roots SC.
This marks a momentous occasion in Oakland sports, as a high-level women’s soccer team plays at this historic venue for the very first time.
Kickoff is at 4:00 PM PT, followed by the Oakland Roots USL Championship match at 7:00 PM PT.
“We are super excited to play in such a meaningful stadium that means so much to Oakland,” said Oakland Soul Head Coach Jessica Clinton. “The support we’ve received at the last two doubleheaders was special, and being able to play in front of so many fans on June 7 is something we’re really looking forward to.”
Oakland Soul will host Stockton Cargo in USL W League action, while Oakland Roots take on El Paso Locomotive FC in USL Championship play.
One ticket gets fans into both games — a chance to experience two full matches at the Coliseum in one unforgettable night.
